A Conversation with...Peter Thiel

On October 3, 2011, Peter Thiel, with discussant Bill Kristol, participated in the e21/Manhattan Institute "Conversations with..." series.

Mr. Thiel first gained attention for innovations in banking and startup finance. He rose to national prominence as the mentor to the entrepreneurs behind PayPal, as well as for his warnings of a coming technology deficit with severe economic consequences. Mr. Thiel is working to accelerate innovation to prevent such a crisis by identifying and funding promising technology ideas and by guiding successful companies to scale. Mr. Thiel is also the author of “The End of the Future,” an article featured in the October 2011 issue of National Review.
