Rep. Ryan Answers Obama

On April 14, 2011, Representative Paul Ryan responded to President Obama's April 13th speech about the federal budget. Rep. Ryan discussed the differences between his plan and the President's, the chances for budgetary reform, and the future of entitlement programs. Fred Barnes directed the discussion, which focused on Rep. Ryan’s recent budget proposal, President Obama’s response to it, and last week’s budget showdown. Rep. Ryan and Mr. Barnes also discussed the on-going battle over spending and the debt limit, and the future of economic issues in this country.
